Pit Stop Layout

This layout doesn't have a huge title that dominates the page, but the theme that really pulls it together is the little sticker that says Pit Stop. We were supposed to go to San Diego for the weekend with our two younger kids and my son's buddy Brian, but I got a text from Brian's mom the night prior to our departure saying he was feeling pretty scared about being away from home for the weekend. We decided to go to the Discovery Cube in Orange County on Thursday since it was a local venue and we could easily take Brian home afterwards if he was feeling homesick. As I mentioned in my journaling, he did great, so DCOC became our pit stop before we kept going for San Diego!

  1. I like your interpretation of the challenge! It shows that the theme options can be used in multiple ways and not just a 'pure' mushroom only or frog only way. I also like that the FQCB themes work for scrapbook formats! Thanks for creating this for our Theme #25! --Becca/DT
