I completed my week 1 layout for the 52 Layouts a Year Challenge! Yay, 1 down, only 51 to go. Let me encourage you, if I can do this in the midst of moving to a new home, all of you can do it, too. I used pictures from our Grand Canyon trip in 2007, and here's something fun I did for this layout: I scanned the picture of the Junior Ranger badge from Adrian's certificate and sent it to Costco to be printed as a photo, then cut it out and used it as a design element on my layout. It's a fun way to add memorabilia that would be too bulky to include in its original format.

You go girl... love the colors in this one and great idea with the badge!
ReplyDeleteGreat page and I'm a big fan of putting in memorabilia as a photo...your cutting skills are great...mine would be very wonky so I do those pages digital ;-)
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl! Just wanted to drop by and say thanks for leaving your comment on my blog recently. I am so excited to know that my "one done every seven" challenge has inspired you too! You're well on your way also so Congrats!! (and in the middle of a move too - how very impressive!!)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Inspiration Cheryl! Sorry I missed the deadline to upload but if you check out my Blog, my page for this week is uploaded there.
ReplyDeleteSo I came over to your blog tonight to find a 2 photo page (using your labels) and this one popped up. The pics I have out are specifically about earning a Scout badge, so I'm giggling at the irony. I may Scraplift the entire layout all the way down to the title :)... Thanks for the inspiration!
