I did lots of stamping and fussy cutting for this layout, and I had forgotten how time consuming it is. Having a Cricut has sure spoiled me! This was another layout where I searched my paper stash for something to color match the photos, but ended up just going with something that fit the theme of the page. Still trying to be okay with things not being matchy-matchy! When I scanned the layout, it didn't come out that well because the large pearls prevented the page from lying flat, but hopefully you can still get an idea of what the layout looks like.

I have just discovered your site and sketches within the past couple of weeks. I am a traditional scrapbooker, with two grown boys, and have just recently been invited to baby showers for 2 ladies having girls. Most of my things were for boys, so I was stumped, and having a hard time getting motivated to work on the scrapbook pages I wanted to do for them. I came upon one of your sketches on Pinterest with the measurements and was thrilled! I am also a member on Splitcoast so I quickly looked up your sketches there, and then went to your website and bookmarked it! Thanks so much for the detailed measurements for your sketches. Now I am more comfortable getting started with a plan. So few others are traditional scrapbookers any more, and many pages are just too "busy" for me, so I am very grateful for your inspiration! Keep up the tremendous inspiration for those of us who continue to still love this craft!
ReplyDeleteI really like this layout. Something about how everything is placed on the page just works perfectly. Great picture also by the way ;) Think I am going to have to scraplift this one!
