I'm changing gears from historical photos to a light-hearted summer layout, and I really enjoyed playing along with several challenges (see below). One technique I tried that is definitely not in my comfort zone was doodling. After doing some research on the internet, I added some doodles to my banner at the top of the page and to my die-cut title, and even embellished a few pre-made items, like the sun and file folder tab. Not sure this is a technique I will use often, but sometimes it's good to stretch yourself creatively!

Challenges: Double Trouble #23 - Wearing of the Green (I used a green background and green marker accents for Thing 1, added gold stars and a gold arrow for Thing 3, and played along over at Heart2Heart for Thing2); Heart 2 Heart Wearing of the Green (used green, rainbow, and gold); Bitten By the Bug St. Patrick's Day or anything green (I went with the green option, using a green marker to color in my die-cut title); Scrapbook.com March Daily Inspiration - doodling.
Love this layout! So many cool elements! It is good try new techniques, I think your doodling looks great! And did you create the colorful banner or was that printed paper? It brings the perfect balance to the green background. Great title, too, thanks for sharing with us at Bitten By the Bug 2.
