I thought I would start out the month with some fun photos of my kids having a blast in the backyard after the July 4th parade back in 2016. I combined a bunch of summer themed supplies and tried to come up with a layout that reflects their fun time in and out of the pool!
Recipe:
Summer Vibes papers & stickers
Good Day Sunshine papers & stickers (Echo Park)
White Daisy cardstock
Sorbet & Canary ink
Turquoise fineliner pen (iBayam)
Summer Daydreams stickers (Photoplay)
Let's Wander Thickers (American Crafts)
Pattern: Bottom Border - Four in a Row from Reflections (CTMH)
Challenges: Double Trouble #119 Something, Anything, Everything (I didn't manage the optional piggies twist, but I did play along with three previous challenge partners!); Use Your Stuff #455 (used a rainbow of colors); Crafting Happiness #130 Not a Card; Inspiration Station #36 Jump In (the photo inspired me to scrap photos of my kids in the kiddie pool, and I used the words "jumped in" in my journaling)
So much fun, Cheryl! How wonderful that you captured these memories. Thank you for playing along with us at Double Trouble #119.
