Father's Day 2012 Layout

Heart 2 Heart's challenge this week is Bows or Bow Ties. I dug out some Father's Day photos and combined them with a paper shirt cut out using my Artiste cartridge. The original design shows a regular tie with the shirt, but I replaced it with a little bow tie! I also combined a die-cut ticket with a coordinating stamp to create a fun accent piece, and I masked off the stars the first time I stamped so that I could stamp them in the bright Cranberry rather than Indian Corn Blue. My finishing touch was three large stitches tying the layout together!

Recipe:
Blue Ribbon & Alphabet Solos "E" stamp sets
Jubilee & Elemental Level 2 papers
Cashmere, Indian Corn Blue, Cranberry, Chocolate & Colonial White cardstock
Indian Corn Blue, Cranberry, Chocolate & Creme Brulee ink
Chocolate marker
Colonial White craft buttons
Colonial White & Cranberry embroidery floss
Creme Brulee paper clip
Cricut Artiste cartridge: shirt, bow-tie, parenthesis, title
Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge: ticket
Heart punch (EK Success)
Circle punch (CM)
Pattern: Enchantment from Magic
Challenges: Frosted Designs Bingo challenge (I used the line that included die cuts, masking, office supplies, 2 different punches & stitching)
