I made two cards this year for Mother's Day, one for my mom and one for my hubby to give to his mom. I decided to make them "fraternal" twins, using the same pattern for both and some similar but not identical supplies.
Here's the one for my hubby's mom:
And here's the one for my mom:
Recipe:
Bee Yourself stamp set
O Happy Day Papers (Simple Stories)
Juniper, Cotton Candy & White Daisy cardstock
Juniper, Cotton Candy, Toffee & Black ink
Buttercup marker
True Colors Floral Bits (Simple Stories)
Pink grosgrain ribbon (Offray)
Pink & Black ribbon (from my stash)
Swiss Dots & Flowers embossing folders (Cuttlebug)
Corner rounder
Pattern: Freshly Made Sketches #374
Challenges: Can You Handle the Pressure? I used 2 embossing folders, and one has flowers for the twist; Cards 4 Galz #275 Bees (before I even found my bee stamp, my hubby came past my desk and told me I should add a bee, so it was meant to bee! Creative Knockouts #569 - 2 or more patterned papers (the sentiment cards are from a cut-apart piece of patterned paper).
