Laugh Layout for Lasting Memories #687

It's Sunday and that means another fun challenge from the Lasting Memories Challenge Blog. I got to think up the challenges for February, and they all go under the theme of We Go Together. The first one is simple: use complementary colors (colors opposite each other on the color wheel). I chose yellow and purple for my colors and was able to incorporate lots of both those colors. Even my photos have a bunch of yellow and purple. If you would like to join in with this challenge, click on the link above to get the details and to see the color wheel. Here's my layout.

No Fooling Layout

Every year, our church holds a pastor appreciation event, and since I usually take photos and scrapbook them, I was running out of title inspiration. But when I saw Heart to Heart's No Fooling challenge and remembered our circus theme for these photos (we now have three pastors, so it's feeling a little like a three ring circus around here - LOL!), I knew I had my title. Love it when that happens. I also used up lots of items from my retired CTMH stash, so I'm loving that, too.

LOAD #3 - Magic Day at the Circus

When most women say their home is sparkling, they mean it's really clean. Unfortunately, when I say that, it means I just finished a project in which I used lots of glitter. Yep, it's everywhere, including my hubby's cheeks! Hopefully you can see the glitter on this layout, because I think it helps reflect the magic of the circus. I used the Stars Above pattern from Imagine, but since I don't have a photo printer at home, I can't print the odd sized photos. So I revised the two spaces with the large photos to hold multilpe smaller photos. Jeanette Lynton's pattern books are so versatile; you can adapt them to your photos -love it! By the way, for those not familiar with Blogger, you can click on the pictures if you want to see a larger view.
