Week 2 Layout Linky - Day's End Layout

Sorry I'm posting this so late in the week. I meant to get it done yesterday, but I got really busy. Why? Because we're moving tomorrow! Woohoo! It's taken a long time, but we finally closed escrow. I managed to get this layout scrapped in breaks between packing, so it's pretty simple, but with photos like these taking center stage, I guess that's okay. I used a brayer and Sunset ink to create my background paper, with a little bit of Sunflower ink sponged on in places. The results are beautiful. Trust me, my scan does not do it justice. I used the Week 90 sketch from the Nuts About Sketches blog. Just an FYI, I will not have internet access all next week, so hopefully I can figure out how to get a link posted . . .

Recipe:
Olivia Level 2 papers
Sunset, Barn Red, New England Ivy, Black & Colonial White cardstock
Sunset, Black & Sunflower ink
Vellum
Black brads
Scallop scissors (Fiskars)

***If you are participating in the challenge, please use the link below to link your layout to this post. You have until Friday at 11:59PM PST to post your second week's layout. The link will allow you to post a title and thumbnail that link to your site, where we can see the layout in all its glory! Note: please do not post from a password protected site that will require us to input a password before viewing.

It is GORGEOUS! Hope I wasn't a pest. Happy moving! Just give a shout out if you need us to comment here next week vs worrying about getting linky up.

Hi! I found your blog through FB. I am an old friend of your husband's. We went to school together in Chile when I was in junior high. Anyway, I love your layouts...I'm one of those who needs to start creating instead of just collecting! I hope your move goes well!
