Hey There Peanut Layout

I host a daily inspiration challenge over on Scrapbook.com, and for September 13, since it was National Peanut Day, I asked the scrapbookers to either be inspired by one of Charles Schulz's Peanuts cartoons or to use a peanut image on their artwork. I was originally going to use the cartoon theme, but then I had the idea to use the word peanut in my title, springboarding off the alternate definition of a peanut as "a cute person, used as a nickname to show affection." Little Tristan was certainly a cute peanut in these photos!

A New Definition of Fall Layout

I wasn't sure where I was going to go with these photo and the sketch from Stick It Down, but I am pretty happy with what I eventually came up with. When I printed the photos, I had the idea that I wanted to talk about something sad that happened while on the way to the pumpkin patch, so it inspired me to create the title and journaling as I did. If you are curious about what happened, click on the photo to get a better view of the journaling!

If you complete all four layouts, you will get an honorable mention for the month!

For my layout, I only used one patterned paper for the background but I stamped two more papers to create patterned papers. Except the cardstock, all the materials for this layout were retired items from my stash!
