This month, Lasting Memories Design Team member Brandi is challenging us to use some brand new sketches. I loved this week's sketch, although I don't know that I did it justice. There are only so many embellishments you can add to a layout about stone tablets - LOL! The Polaroid photo part of the sketch was perfect for adding some journaling about each of the tablets, but I can see that on other layouts, it would work equally well to leave these spaces blank. Hopefully you are inspired to check out the design team's creations this week and join us for this or any of the sketch challenges this April!
Here's the sketch:

The topic of your layout definitely isn’t an easy one - I really like the colours and patterns you used. Thanks for sharing with us at Colour Dare :)
How interesting, Cheryl! I love the theme of this page and you always include the inspiration sketch perfectly. Great use of our challenge colors, too. Thank you for playing along with us at Color Dare.
Nice layout! thanks for playing along with us at Color Dare challenge!
In Az we did a lot of visits to state parks and to view the writings in stone... the soft colors you used for your background really make these images pop. Great way to do a memory page. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Dare.
Great layout! I love how you used the Polaroid photo theme to write about the tablets. Thank you for joining us at Color Dare.
I think you rocked the sketch. Your layout is fabulous. I love the way you added the title in the circle & the three stems (mimicking as stones perhaps?). Thank you for sharing at Color Dare.
