Take Your Daughter to Work Day Layout for LM #796

This month has flown by, and we're already at the last Sunday, which means the final Lasting Memories challenge for April is here. Today's challenge is to choose between THIS: use brand new, whole pieces of paper or THAT; use all scraps except the base. I decided to go with THAT, and pulled out some papers from an old kit. I did have one full piece that I used as the base, but the other piece and all my cardstock are scraps. Feel free to join us over at Lasting Memories to play along with this and any of the other challenges before the link-up closes on May 2nd!

Old Story Layout

It's been a busy month for me with my husband recovering from transplant surgery (I am his caregiver and have to drive him to tons of doctor appointments) and my daughter involved in many senior year events, so this layout has taken way longer to finish than it normally would, but I am glad to get something scrapped!

Sapphire, Lagoon & Sweet Leaf ink

On the South Bank of the Thames Layout for LM #794

Happy Sunday, everyone, and for those of you in the northern hemisphere, I hope you are enjoying the spring weather. It's a little rainy here in Southern California, but it makes a nice change from the high temperatures of the past week. It's reveal day over at Lasting Memories, and I am hosting the THIS OR THAT challenges this month. I decided to go with the THAT option today: create a title using die-cuts and/or stamps. (The other option was to use alphabet stickers). I love the versatility of die-cuts - any size you need - and the limitless color options of both die-cuts and stamps, plus you never run out of that one letter you seem to need, which has been my experience with stickers! Hope you decide to hop on over to the blog and share your layout using either stickers or die-cut/stamps in your title.

Recipe:
Trinity Alphabet stamp set
Avonlea and Sparkle & Shine papers
Mint, Juniper & Peacock cardstock
White Daisy textured cardstock
Juniper & Peacock ink
Juniper marker
Petticoats & Pinstripes ephemera (Echo Park)
Gazebo Titles Great Length stickers (CM)
Antique Travel stickers (PSX)
London sticker (Frances Meyer)
Cool Summer Nights enamel dots (Altenew)
Cricut Design Space: title using Medina Script
Pattern: EMS Sketch Challenge #73

Challenges: Love Those Pretty Papers - anything goes with lots of patterned paper; Neglected Stuff Challenges - mine is the patterned papers and the stickers; One More Page - anything goes as long as it’s a scrapbook page; The Outlawz Anything But a Card; Paper Rocks Scissors #15 - used scissors to trim the edges of my punched circles where they were a little ragged.
