2nd Grade Layout

National Scrapbook Day Challenge #3 at Let's Scrap was to use a line from the provided bingo card and place all the elements on a single layout. I chose the line that said distressing, ribbon, sketch, one photo, and hidden journaling. I'm not really big on scrapping just one photo, but this seemed like a perfect opportunity to get caught up on my older son's school album. He's graduating 5th grade in June and I'm still on 2nd grade photos!

Recipe:
Tiny Typewriter Alphabet stamp set

Wicker Weave embossing folder (Cuttlebug)
Staples
3-D foam tape

I can totally relate to not being into single photo layouts, but it's wonderful that you were able to get this portrait scrapped for your son's album! I've got quite a bit of school pages to create, too. My daughter has been in the same school from K-8th grade and I'm trying to finish as much of her album as possible before she starts high school in the fall.
Deadlines really help inspire us, don't they? I find challenges really help me get more done!
Thanks for sharing!
