Grad 1983 Layout

Two Sundays ago, I scrapbooked my 8th grade school picture, and today I skipped forward to 8th grade graduation. I am fortunate enough to have my childhood diary with an account of the day, so I scanned the page and printed it out to add to my page. Apparently, I had no humility at the time, as I mentioned being the best singer in my quartet and having a high GPA! I kept the color scheme to earth tones, which went well with the rather faded photos. Although it looks white in the photos, my dress was actually light green. I had my layout finished and scanned, then remembered I wanted to add butterflies from my new package, so I had to go back and do that. Anyone ever do this? LOL!

Regarding your question, I've done that numerous times, I must admit!! LOL!
All kidding aside, your 2-page layout is absolutely beautiful, Cheryl. It's awesome that you made it about your 8th grade graduation, and that you had your diary page to scan, too. Your dress was beautiful - your mom was very talented! Your butterflies added a special touch to your already beautiful page. Thank you so much for joining us at Challenge YOUrself for the butterfly challenge this month!

Wow, an 8th Grade graduation and you were lucky to have so many photos... what a beautiful memory page. My mom also made those fancy frilly dresses for our Easter outfit... the same style but in different colors for my other sisters. She dressed us like triplets even though there were 2-3 years difference, but when my oldest was a teen that wasn't accepted and we became twins... lol.
