Shine Brightly Layout

I have been getting into a habit of scrapbooking on one page all the miscellaneous photos from a particular month that don't fit into any larger events, so here are a few from May 2018. Of course, since the top left photo shows my son at a Star Wars movie, I had to play along with a couple of Star Wars challenges for Star Wars Day (May the 4th).

Recipe:
Watercolor paper (Recollections)
You Rock papers
Bold & Bright - Daily Reminder paper (American Crafts)
Black cardstock
Vellum
Smokey Plum, Indian Corn Blue, Pear & Goldrush ink
Dutch Blue re-inker
Watercolor paints (Artist's Loft)
Opaque Matte Texture Paste (Ranger)
Lumberjack Plaid Distress Spritz ((Ranger)
Starry Night Stencil (Simple Stories)
Pattern: Splitcoast Stampers Sketch15Dec1

Challenges: Park Hopping My Happy Place May Challenge - I was inspired by the Star Wars theme and used the soft shade of red in the photo, plus some glittery spray inspired by the red light saber.

Time Out Challenges #288 - Star Wars theme!

Such a fun layout! I love the repeated circles and that background pairs perfectly with the SOLO and shine brightly elements. So glad you shared this with us at Time Out Challenges this week

Fabulous layout, Cheryl. The background colors tie in with the Solo photo and the stars and what look like planets emphasize the theme. Thanks for sharing this with us at Time Out.
