Halloween 2012 Layout

Scrap It Girl's color challenge (black + white + one other color of your choice) seemed perfect for this Halloween layout, but it was actually harder than I thought not to keep reaching for other colors to add to the layout!

O Christmas Tree Layout

One of our favorite holiday traditions is going to the tree lot the weekend after Thanksgiving and getting our Christmas tree. We enjoy all the components of the hunt, culminating with tracking down our perfect tree! I knew that CTMH's Sparkle & Shine paper, with its fun polka dot, check, and stripe patterns, was going to be perfect for scrapping this family tradition, and I even went a little wild and made a rosette to add some dimension to the page. Buzz & Bumble Happy Birthday Card

I've been working on a card workshop for the Buzz & Bumble papers, so here's a birthday card that showcases three of the patterns yet leaves some white space. Gifts 4 Dad Layout

Today is the start of Virtual Scrapbook Night: Let's Go to the Fair at Splitcoast Stampers. I'm hosting a challenge based on the Photography Exhibit that is one of my favorite events at the L.A. County Fair. I'm asking everyone to create a layout with a focus photo that is emphasized in some way (enlarged, fancy matting, arrows pointing to it, etc.). Kindred Layout

I'm almost done with the challenges from VIrtual Scrapbook Night on Split Coast Stampers. Here's another one; we had to use the site ABCya! Word Clouds for Kids! to create a word cloud, and then use it on our layout. Unfortunately, I couldn't print mine out since my color printer wasn't working, so I improvised using stamps. I also used 2 Page Sketch #1 from the Sketch Support Blog.
