Car Show Layout

I decided a few years ago that I would just make elementary school albums for each of my kids, since there aren't tons of photos from middle and high school, so even though this event was a fundraiser at one of my kid's schools, I think I am going to put it in the family album. What do you all think? Do you seem to have an abundance of school related photos from your kids' younger years, and then it drops off sharply once they finish elementary school? Anyway, I was happy that my order from A Cherry on Top arrived this week so I could use the Carta Bella patterned papers and the Nuvo Drops on this layout, combined with some items that have been in my stash for years. Enjoy!

Recipe:
You're a Classic stamp set (CTMH)
Classic Car Show, Stripe Paint Job & Blast Soda Caps papers (Carta Bella)
Espresso, Sage & Sapphire cardstock (CTMH)
Prussian Blue & Mars Black fineliner pens (iBayam)

Hello Darlin' PML cards (CTMH)
Red Dot Essentials washi tape (Echo Park)
Autumn Red Nuvo Drops
Heart punch (EK Success)
Cricut Design Space: scalloped borders, banner, gears, title using Magneto font
Pattern: Dusty Attic Year of Sketches Week 39 - 2019 (from Facebook)

I did school albums for all four kids as well but have preschool through High School. Middle school was a little light but a have a fair amount from high school as they all did sports. A few were in clubs or student government. It also helps that I work at the high school so I have a few candid shots too.

Awesome double page Cheryl! I'm always amazed how you get so many photos on a page. That die cut gear makes a great mat for the sentiment. Thanks for sharing with A Cut Above's May Challenge.

Cheryl, I agree that we tend to have fewer photos our our kids and grandkids as they enter the teen years. Each year I make a personalized calendar for my granddaughters' other grandmothers using photos from the previous year as a Christmas gift. Our 13-year old has so few photos. The photo album pages you created are a wonderful way to capture their childhood adventures. Thank you for sharing with us at Double Trouble!!! -Donna
