EMS Sketch Challenge 28 + LOAD #14 - Gifts

Almost caught up with posting my LOAD for this week - yay! This layout comes with a sketch, so feel free to try it out. There's a fun little element that I added to the layout: an envelope to hold my journaling. The journaling required more space than I had designated, so I wrote it on both sides of the insert that goes in the envelope. The envelope template is one of the many included on the DVD that comes with Jeanette Lynton's Magic book. Cool bonus!

LOAD #18 - Cake & Presents

I really need to get back on the ball and finish my layouts earlier in the day. Tomorrow morning is busy again, but hopefully I can get back on track by Wednesday. This layout is the final one in my series from the coolest princess party ever. Check out the great princess cake! I was inspired by the sketches in the July/August issue of Creating Keepsakes, so I used the basic idea and adapted it to my photos. Hope you like it.

Jingle Christmas Card Workshop

I just finished designing the cards for my Christmas workshop for next Saturday. Yay! We're going to be doing 20 cards, two each of ten designs. Each card features a white base, Creme Brulee cardstock, and papers from the Jingle Level 2 paper pack. Although the cards are simple, I tried to have something special on each one: Liquid Glass, ric-rac, embroidery floss, Prisma Glitter, etc. I'm really looking forward to this event. I'll let you know how it turns out!
