If I had been allowed to make the decision, we would have never adopted our dog Huxley (we already had two dogs so I didn't see a strong need for a third one), but I was outvoted by my hubby and kids, so he's now a loved part of the family. For this layout telling the story of how Huxley came into our lives, I pulled out a sketch I designed for Splitcoast Stampers in 2015, then flipped it upside down to suit my pictures. I used the same base cardstock for both pages, but for some reason it came out different shades when I scanned it.

Sometimes the most unexpected additions to our families are the best ones! Great layout. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble :)
Fabulous page of memories, Cheryl! Huxley is adorable. Thank you for sharing with us at Double Trouble #134. (I protested the adoption of a third dog that was abandoned in a trash bag in my mom's front yard but he was a wonderful addition to our family for 12 years.) -- Melanie R.
Huxley would for sure be hard to say no to and you can see from the photos how happy his adoptive parents are and that he found his forever home. Beautiful memory page. Would love you to share your PAWsome Pet in Cleo’s special random draw in addition to our project draw… simply use one of your photos with you and your pet and enter in slims special link to celebrate Happy Puppy Day. Thank you for sharing your project with us at Double Trouble and Use Your Stuff.
I understand the feeling, but for us it's cats. Still love them all. Great layout. Thanks for sharing with us at Use Your Stuff.
