It's sketching time! The Heart 2 Heart sketch this month features 9 photos. I stuck pretty closely to the sketch, but feel free to change photo sizes, move some elements around, and use hearts or stars or whatever you like in place of the snowflakes. Happy scrapping, and, as always, please link to the H2H blog when you post your completed layout so we can admire your interpretation of the sketch.

Week 36 Layout Linky - Southern California Snowstorm
This layout is pretty simple, and I used some non-CTMH patterned paper and stamps, but I love the story behind it. Please click on the picture to enlarge it so you can read the journaling. I'm sure all you moms out there have a similar naughty child story to tell! I used two sketches from Stickersnfun.com for the design.

LOAD #11 - K Concert
The lighting was too dark in the auditorium for me to get pictures of the actual concert, so I had to make do with these photos of my boys posing next to the bulletin boards. At least I got Elliot's gloves and hat that he wore for the concert! The layout pattern is Trap Door (the right side) from Magic.

Grand Canyon Snow Layout
This layout has been sitting on my scrapdesk for days while I tried to figure out the finishing touches, and I finally decided to just get it done! One thing we hadn't counted on for our trip to the Grand Canyon was snow, but we encountered quite a bit, so I felt I had to memorialize it with at least one layout. I used the pattern Lovely Assistant from Jeanette Lynton's new book Magic, and several elements on my page were inspired by the layout on page 42 of the Fall / Winter idea book. The large chipboard oval on the picture of my son is actually an "O" from the Dimensional Elements Monograms "O" pack. There are two extra-large "O"s that would be difficult to use as part of a title because they're just so big, so I'm glad I found an alternate use for one of them!
